Location:All jobs are located in and around London as well all over the United Kingdom.
Salary/Wages:Salaries for most junior positions are GBP 14 – 22 per Hour.
Salaries may be slightly higher where there is no accommodation provided.
Taxes:All candidates are required to pay Income Tax and National Health (National Insurance) contributions, which are payable on your gross wages. The National Insurance is pegged at 5% (2.5% for Gratuity & 2.5% for Health Care)
The Income tax is payable as per the slabs mentioned below (per year):
- Tax free Allowance – up to £12,570/-
- £12,571/- to £50,270 – 20 %
- £50,271/- to £1,50,000 – 40 %
Professional Fees (12,400 GBP)
Total Professional Fees paid to us is for the following:
- Consultancy
- Work Permit
- Visa Guidance
Work Hours:Working hours vary from company to company and are normally between 40/48 hours & 5 days, Per Week, unless otherwise stated. The work hours in restaurants are generally longer.
Supplementary Work:It is possible to take up additional work of a similar nature with a different employer outside of their normal working hours. However, supplementary work should not exceed 20 hrs per week. Always, first check up with your current employer for additional work & ensure that it does not interfere with your primary employer’s interests.
Eligibility:All the candidates must satisfy one of the following criteria’s to be eligible for a Work Permit.
- Minimum 3 year Experience
- IELTS Not Less than 6.0
- Graduate
- MOI Required (Medium of Instruction – if no IELTS)
What is the pay and working hours?:Contracts vary from company to company but generally remuneration starts from £14 per hour (including gratuity). Your average working week will be around 40 – 45 hours depending on the company; however any additional hours over 40 Hours will be compensated at the applicable overtime rates or day off.
Duty Meals and Accommodation:Most employers would provide duty meals and single accommodation; please clarify this with us before they put you up for an interview. In a lot of instances they do not have accommodation available, in these cases the wages offered may be marginally higher.
Step by Step Guide /the Process Review of Resume :If you are found suitable you will be informed and asked to register with us. Please feel free to contact us by email or phone.
Registration: Contact our consultants :Registration does not guarantee you a job. We only ask candidates to register with us if we feel we will have a suitable post for them or we find that our clients would be interested in hiring them. An amount of Rs.2,50,000/- (INR) is required towards registration, which is fully refundable at any time until you are put up for an interview or are selected by an employer. Registration fee is not refundable after a Job offer is received.
Submitting Forms & Formats :After your initial screening and registration, certain forms need to be filled; C.V. Format, reference letters on specified formats and sign the Official Contract Letter. These documents are very important and must be submitted in a time to avoid delays in processing. Please remember to mention clear and correct information on your resume, as it is your responsibility to make sure the information is right.
References :Please arrange to provide reference letters as requested at the earliest, please don’t provide any false or incorrect information including dates of employment & the designation held.
Setting Up your Interview :Once we have all the documents in our formats and your registration fee, your resume will be forwarded to a client. We will always take your consent and give you any information that you may need, such as name of the property/company, facilities, salary, location and any other information you may need. Once you have given your consent we will forward your resume to the client who may or may not conduct a Skype/Telephonic interview.
Job Offer :You will receive a Job Offer after your selection, which must be counter signed and returned to us. You will be required to make an additional deposit (follow your consultants instructions). You are normally required to travel to the UK within 60 Days of receipt of your Job Offer Letter
Work Permits :You will receive your certificate of sponsorship within 6 weeks of signing the offer letter, please coordinate with our Consultant closely for next steps to VFS & to the Embassy if required. The time taken for a Sponsorship certificate is totally dependent on the UK Home office and any delay is not under our control.
Interview at the Embassy :If you are called for an Interview at the Embassy please inform your consultant prior to the Interview; this is a must.
Visa Stamped :Once your visa is stamped please contact us for travel arrangements and instructions.
Additional Notes :All candidates interested in registration must counter sign these instruction sheets with full signature and date on each page, if you are below 25 you will need to get it counter signed by a parent or guardian.
Only candidates who are currently employed need to apply for registration and jobs in the UK. Candidates working on cruise liners and who are on leave can also apply.
All candidates must be working during the time their applications are being processed.
Candidates will be required to submit proof of current employment such as Salary Slips, Bank statements and appointment letters.
